Thurston County Public Health and Social Services announced that beginning
On Aug. 1, the organization implemented a newly created online ordering option for purchasing Washington State birth and death certificates.
Qualified applicants will have a fast, easy, secure and affordable way to ask for certified copies of Washington state birth and death certificates, according to a press release. The process of online ordering ensures compliance with state laws, increases security, accelerates turn-around times and streamlines record ordering in Thurston County.
In addition to the new online ordering process, customers can still visit in person for same-day service at the Public Health and Social Services office.
The office is located at 414 Lilly Road NE in Olympia. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
