Corwin Kiddoo, 66, Yelm, and Deborah Kiddoo, 67, Yelm, were traveling westbound just east of state Route 108 as the 70-year-old Port Angeles man, whose name has not been released, attempted to make a left turn in his 2001 Honda CRV. Corwin Kiddoo, who was driving a 2003 Ford E45, attempted to change lanes to avoid the other vehicle driven by the Port Angeles man but struck it in the process. Both vehicles came to rest westbound on state Route 8 just west of state Route 108 in the median, per the release.

The Kiddoos were both transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma with injuries, according to the release. The Port Angeles man was taken to the same hospital, where he later died.
