The Thurston Regional Planning Council has unveiled the updated draft to the Thurston Regional Trails Plan and is seeking public comment until Oct. 9.
This update comes more than two years after the council conducted an online survey from community members. The survey asked trail users about what they value about trails, how they use trails and their convenience of access, people’s sense of safety and security using trails and more.
Between now and Oct. 9, community members can explore the online open house to learn about the projects coming to nearby trails. The online open house can be accessed at https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/1c2702df84c94f66bbc2afd3a8784012.
