The Nisqually Valley News unveiled its first-ever podcast, titled “The Nisqually Valley News Bites,” with the first episode launching on Monday, Aug. 19 at the NVN’s website, yelmonline.com and its Facebook page.
On the first episode of the Nisqually Valley News Bites, hosts Dylan Reubenking and Editor Jessica Keller are joined by Yelm Community Schools Superintendent Chris Woods to discuss the state of the school district, the recent budget cuts, the upcoming school year and reasons he is optimistic about the future of education in Yelm moving forward. Plus, Woods answers Facebook questions and previews Yelm High School’s upcoming athletic season as the Tornados move into the 4A South Puget Sound League.
