Lacey man recounts sightings to Sasquatch organization

A series of Sasquatch encounters were detailed in an account shared by Erich James, a 41-year-old resident of Lacey. James contacted the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization (RMSO) and provided his story along with photographs of evidence of Bigfoot.

James recounted his first Sasquatch experiences at ages 5 and 7 near the Bald Hills past Yelm to the RMSO. However, a recent encounter during the summer of this year left an indelible mark on him. Following his niece’s graduation, James embarked on a rockhounding excursion for agates near Little Naches, at his brother’s invitation.

Over two and a half months, Erich James claims to have had at least eight distinct Sasquatch encounters in three locations: Little Naches, Deschutes Falls and Nisqually Riverbend Campground. His experiences include sighting at least four Sasquatches, capturing photographs of one, spotting footprints and even obtaining what he claims to be a Sasquatch finger bone, shared by his brother, who wishes to remain anonymous.

“I also have video of the wet spots and footprints we found on the Nisqually River, really way too much for me to share on a FB post,” James wrote.

The photographs he shared on Facebook include images of footprints, a small, yet deep print near where his first encounter occurred, and a large Sasquatch footprint next to a smaller one. One image, taken the night after his first encounter, captures what he describes as a Sasquatch snapping a tree, producing a thunder-like sound.

James also shared X-rays of an alleged Sasquatch finger bone, comparing its size to his own finger for reference.

RMSO responded to James’ post, expressing amazement at his encounters and interest in hearing the details of the four Sasquatches he claims to have seen in a single encounter.

In the exchange, James provided additional details, including the location of the sightings — Little Naches, up on Chinook Pass, at approximately 6,000 feet.

James also reveals that he attempted to share his discoveries with the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) but faced challenges. James remains assured his findings are real and told the RMSO he wants his story told.
