Annette Ivey, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, lost her short battle with lung cancer on the morning of Oct. 1, 2024. She was born to Glen and Esther Beymer in Klamath Falls, Oregon, in 1943, who are waiting to greet her at the pearly gates.

She is survived by her sister, Chris Beymer; her three children, Glen, Kevin and Heather; and her cherished grandchildren, Jack and Delaney.

Her childhood was spent on farms and the logging camps of the redwoods as her father changed careers and settled in Creswell, Oregon. She attended Oregon State University for animal science and business, marrying Joel Ivey, father to her three children, Heather, the youngest, being born on the same day they moved to her farm in Yelm, Washington, where she spent most of her life.

A proud member of the Yelm community for 50 years, Annette thrived on her farm, nurturing not only her children but also horses and numerous pets. She dedicated 40 years to supporting local small businesses through her tax accounting and bookkeeping services, her clients becoming family.

Annette will be remembered for her razor-sharp wit, her warmth and her unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand to her neighbors. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, 4-6 p.m., at the Yelm Senior Center. All who knew her are welcome.
