Yelm High School’s girls wrestling team will host a dual meet on Thursday, Dec. 19, against 4A SPSL opponents Bethel and Graham-Kapowsin high schools. The meet will begin at 6 p.m. inside of YHS’s gymnasium.

‘Miracle on 34th Street’ matinee
Standing Room Only Theater will host a 2 p.m. matinee for a showing of its “Miracle on 34th Street” performance at the Outpost Church in Yelm, located at 102 Yelm Ave. E. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased online or at the door of the event.

Yelm High School’s boys basketball team will host an old South Sound Conference rival at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, as the River Ridge Hawks travel to town for nonconference action against the Tornados. Farrelli’s Pizza will collaborate with Yelm Dollars for Scholars on Wednesday, Jan. 22, as the restaurant will donate a portion of its proceeds to the community-based organization to provide to graduating students. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 813 W. Yelm Ave.

El Rey Burro will collaborate with Yelm Dollars for Scholars on Friday, Feb. 7, as the restaurant will donate a portion of its proceeds to the community-based organization to provide to graduating students. Hours at the restaurant are 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 706 E. Yelm Ave.

Yelm Dollars for Scholars silent auction
The 30th annual Yelm Dollars for Scholars event will kick off with an online silent auction, which lasts from Saturday, March 1, through 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 8. Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit YHS graduates pursuing further education and training. The auction itself can be found at https://yelm.dollarsforscholars.org.

Yelm Dollars for Scholars 30th Annual Auction
Celebrate the 30th annual Yelm Dollars for Scholars auction from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the Lake Lawrence Community Club, 15737 Topaz Drive SE.
