Two freshmen led the way for the Beavers in an Evergreen meet Thursday, with the boys’ Tristan Von Bargen capturing ninth place with a time of 21:04, and the girls’ Brynn Williams running a 27:06 for seventh.

With just two girls runners, senior Claire Scibelli finished right behind Williams for eighth with a time of 28:49.

For the boys, senior Braxton Williams ran a 21:09 for tenth, making Von Bargen and Williams the only Beaver top-10 finishers.

The Beavers second pack, which finished 13th-18th, were Blaine Schott (21:52), Damon Anderson (21:53), Cash Gallaher (21:54), Jayden Merritt (21:57), Tanis Von Bargen (22:12), and Larry Whitney (22:28).

Eatonville’s Joey Mueller took home first place for the boys with a time of 19:33, and Montesano’s Aubrey Anderson ran a 24:13 for first on the girls side.
