Two drivers were injured in a collision on state Route 507 in Pierce County early Thursday morning after one of the drivers failed to stop at a stop sign.
Both vehicles were totaled, and the drivers were transported to MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup for treatment.
The crash was reported at approximately 6:37 a.m. on Sept. 3, according to a Washington State Patrol incident report.
A silver 2010 Honda CR-V driven by Cassandra J. Daley, 41, of Roy, was reportedly traveling westbound on 320th Street when Daley failed to obey a stop sign while turning onto northbound state Route 507. Her vehicle struck a black 2021 Jeep Gladiator driven by Brandon S. Roth, 47, of Yelm, that was traveling northbound on state Route 507. The Honda came to rest in the northbound right shoulder ditch, and the Jeep came to rest in the southbound right shoulder ditch.
Southbound state Route 507 was blocked at milepost 33 for an hour and 29 minutes while the crash was cleared.
Daley was issued a citation. No drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
