The Thurston County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing Tuesday, Sept. 16 to receive and consider public testimony on the 2025 Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan Update. The proposed update is available online at https://tinyurl.com/2p6df957.
The public hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. or soon thereafter following the board’s business meeting at 3000 Pacific Ave. SE in Olympia. Those wishing to testify should appear in person or connect virtually via Zoom. Community members can submit written comments no later than 12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 by using the comment form at https://tinyurl.com/jp9ebcaz or by email to Amelia Schwartz at amelia.schwartz@co.thurston.wa.us.
