Thurston County Public Health and Social Services this week announced the release of the 2025 Community Health Assessment (CHA).
A CHA is a collection and review of local health data used to track trends, identify needs and guide community-wide health priorities. It is a critical step in defining the vision for health in a community so that targeted health enhancement efforts can be selected to improve policies, dismantle health disparities and promote collective impact in the community.
The county encourages all Thurston County community members to play a role in shaping the next steps and invites community members to take the five- to 10-minute CHA, designed to capture voices from every corner of the county. Community input will help ensure that future programs and policies reflect the real needs and priorities of those who live, work and play in Thurston County, according to a county news release.
