The Thurston County Auditor’s Office is seeking artists to participate in a contest to design a new “I Voted” sticker for Thurston County. The winning design will be picked by the auditor before the November general election. The new stickers may be distributed in Thurston County ballot packets.
Anyone living in Thurston County can enter. The auditor’s office encourages civic spirit but no politics as the elections office is non-partisan. Designs must incorporate Thurston County and include the phrase “I Voted.” Artists may use any medium they choose so long as it can become a sticker.
Designs must be circular or fit into a 4-inch circle. Digital entries must be at least 300 dots per inch and formatted as .jpg or .png files. If artists are to choose to create a painting, they must send a high-resolution image of the painting, not the painting itself.
Entries are due by 4:30 p.m. on July 1 and may be submitted via email to elections@co.thurston.wa.us using the subject line “TCGC Art Contest.” Participants must submit their name and preferred contact information with their email submission. For questions or more information, contact the elections division at 360-786-5408, elections@co.thurston.wa.us or visit ThurstonWAVotes.gov.
