State Suspends Licenses of Massage Therapist, Certified Nursing Assistant

The Washington State Department of Health has suspended the licenses of a massage therapist in Pierce County and a certified nursing assistant in Thurston County.

In October, the Massage Therapist Program suspended the massage therapist license of Edward Y. Kim, of Pierce County, for not complying with a requirement to submit regular performance evaluations or declarations of unemployment, stated a Jan. 3 news release.

In December, the secretary of health suspended the certified nursing assistant license of Susan Marie Cruz, of Thurston County, for at least five years for stealing $61,000 from a patient, stated the release.
