Roy Pioneer Rodeo Returns for Labor Day Weekend

The Roy Pioneer Rodeo returned to Higgins Greig Road over the weekend, delighting rodeo enthusiasts with two days of action-packed competition. 

The rodeo is held twice a year on the first weekend of September and the first weekend of June. 



The staple event for Roy was first held on June 19, 1960. It included events like cow milking, barrel racing and bull riding. 

This year featured bronc riding and breakaway roping, among a plethora of other events.
