Yelm Medical Plaza has a new addition with Providence Obstetrics and Gynecology recently opening and offering its services to the Yelm community.
Its team consists of board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, along with nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses and certified medical assistants. Providence Obstetrics and Gynecology, 201 Tahoma Blvd. SE, Suite 204, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The business provides comprehensive women’s health care from the onset of menses through menopause and beyond and treats conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian cysts and more.
Providence also provides testing and diagnostics services such as annual gynecological exams, blood pressure exams, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, pregnancy testing, punch biopsies, ultrasound imaging, urine analysis, vaginal swabs and more.
Clinical services include contraceptive management, cryotherapy, hormone replacement therapy, labor management and delivery options, polyp removal, prenatal and postnatal care and sexually transmitted infections.
Providence also provides support services including family planning and preconception counseling, miscarriage and pregnancy loss counseling, pregnancy loss follow-up care, and vaginal birth after cesarean consultation.
