People should be careful before voting for Trump

Editor,

I just learned that, out of all the donations made from the 98597 zip code, only seven more donations were made from Republicans than Democrats.

What could happen in a second Trump presidency? In Trump's first term the Republican Congress passed legislation, over Democrats objections, that if you're a corporation that ships your jobs to Mexico, you can get a 50% tax cut.

Elon Musk, who Trump wants to run a government efficiency commission, just said that Americans will have to suffer to bring down the debt. Actually, we would have no national debt but for Reagan's, Bush's and Trump's tax cuts. Musk says people will be upset because those cuts will have to come from Social Security, food stamp programs, disability programs

and other programs aimed at helping people.

Lifelong Republican Gen. Kelly, who ran the program that took Trump’s “taking children from their mother's program” at the border, has come out to say that Trump is a fascist and a danger to the country. Over 200 other Republicans who worked in or advised the Trump administration have advised people not to vote for him.

The Heritage Foundation, a Republican think tank that is working for the corporate elites, along with Project 2025, where 140 out of the 300 people involved with writing it worked for the Trump administration, aren't interested in helping regular people.

Be careful who you vote for.
