Nisqually Valley News reporter Dylan Reubenking can now add the accolade of “District 4 B Boys Media Person of the Year” to his resume, as he was recently made aware of the honor by Rainier Wrestling Coach, Chris Holterman. Reubenking earned the award for the second straight year.
Nominations for the honor were made by the Washington State Wrestling Coaches Association, and at the state qualifier tournament members of WSWCA voted on the nominations. Reubenking has reported on all Rainier High School sports during his tenure with the Nisqually Valley News and takes tremendous pride in covering Mountaineers Athletics.
Other honors voted on were Coach of the Year, Assistant Coaching Staff of the Year, Middle School coach of the Year, Wrestler of the Year and Official of the Year.
