I want to thank Tye Menser for serving as Thurston County commissioner these last four years. I have watched many Tuesday commission meetings and am impressed with his intelligence, patience and thoroughness.
Tye is always prepared for meetings and does his homework. His reward for outstanding service is to be harassed with recall petitions.
The two failed recall attempts were dismissed as being legally and factually insufficient. The liars did not succeed.
Under Tye’s influence, the county passed a balanced-budget policy, increased the county’s fund balance target by 50% and then created the county’s first rainy day fund and seeded it with $2 million.
Tye deserves your vote in the November election.
Madeline Bishop,
Olympia
