As an elder, I’ve lived through many political crises in this country — but I have never seen an attack on our people like this. Intentional confusion and fear mongering. Fomenting hatred domestically and abroad.
My parents experienced this in another country decades ago and found safety here. They would be terrified to see it here now. Thank goodness they are no longer alive to bear witness again.
