In Loving Memory of Mary Fullerton

Our precious mother, Mary Elizabeth Claudia Engebretsen Fullerton, passed to the other side because this world was not her home, she was just passing through. Mary was born on March 14, 1937 in Tacoma and graduated from Yelm High School. She grew up on her parent’s farms on Harts Lake and was a Parkland Roundup Rodeo princess. She attended McKenna Missionary Church, Clover Creek Baptist Church, Eatonville Baptist Church and Spanaway Assembly of God.

Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Fullerton Sr.; their children Polly (Marty) McCray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Fullerton Jr.; daughters Rachel and Renee; Elizabeth (Greg) Rohr and daughters Kelly, Kristen, and Kathryn; Patty (Tim) Golob and daughter Tiffany and sons Nick and Steven; Wes and Karina Fullerton and daughter Grace; Phillip Tracy Fullerton and daughters Stephanie and Jessica; Mary’s siblings Bonnie McLaughlin of Amarillo, Texas; Jeannie Stevie of Greybull, Wyoming; Darlene Vickers of Kenansville, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her grandsons Luke McCray and Eric McCray of Oklahoma; parents John Norman Engebretsen and Mary Marie Griffin; her siblings John Norman Engebretsen, Jr.; Louise Eugenia Ward; Rosie Marie Venable; and cousin David Engebretsen. The family wishes to thank care staff and express our eternal gratitude. Precious memories, how they linger, how they ever flood my soul. I want to stroll over heaven with you some glad day.
