Jeffrey Lee Stone, born on May 16, 1952, in San Francisco, California, at the Presidio Army installation, passed away on Nov. 3, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and June Stone. He is survived by his devoted wife, Chun Stone; their son, Ted Stone; and his loving sister, Jackie Schroepfer.
A dedicated and skilled Army veteran, Jeff served his country with honor and distinction for over two decades from 1972 to 1995. His lifelong dream of becoming a pilot was realized as he soared through the skies, commanding both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. Jeff's courage and commitment were exemplified by his service in Operation Desert Storm.
Beyond his military achievements, Jeff's passion for flying was evident in every aspect of his life. He approached his career with enthusiasm and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on those who served alongside him. Jeff's charisma, leadership and unwavering spirit earned him the respect of his peers and superiors alike.
In his personal life, Jeff found joy and fulfillment in the love of his family. His marriage to Chun was a source of strength, and their son, Ted, became a testament to the values of duty and family that Jeff held dear. His sister, Jackie, remained a constant source of support and connection throughout his life.

In accordance with his wishes, Jeff's ashes will be scattered in a private family ceremony.
