Harry Dwayne Larson was born on Jan. 12, 1930, in Northport, Nebraska, the youngest of eight children, to Oscar and Minnie Larson.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lila Lee and sons Craig (Sharon), Scott (Dana), Brian (Becky) and their families.
Harry met Lila Lee while attending Oregon State University. They were married June 13, 1954, and Harry began his 30 year career in the Army. They were stationed across the United States, in Japan and Germany and he served two tours in Vietnam. Upon retirement as a colonel, Harry and Lila Lee moved to Hawthorne, Nevada, where Harry worked an additional 25 years at the Hawthorne Army Ammunition Plant. Harry and Lila Lee moved to Yelm in 2011 where they resided until his passing.
A loving and devoted husband and father, Harry loved spending time with his family, camping, full time RVing, boating, fishing and taking care of his pets.
