In Loving Memory of Dale Edward Finley: 1928-2021

Dale Edward Finley passed away of natural causes Dec. 10, 2021, in Olympia, Washington. He was born Dec. 14, 1928, to Charles Edward Finley and Esther Elizabeth Stuart Finley in Sargent, Nebraska. He was a 32-year resident of Yelm, Washington, and also lived in Snoqualmie, Washington.

Dale graduated from Tolt High School in Tolt, Washington. He served in the U.S. Air Force (1946-1952), and worked for the Washington Department of Fisheries for over 30 years. He married Patricia Frances Faulds on Nov. 21, 1953, in Carnation, Washington.

Dale was a kind, easy-going gentleman who had a wry sense of humor. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing cribbage and pinochle.

He is survived by his brother Lyle Finley of Sun City, Arizona. He was preceded by his parents Charles and Esther Finley, brother Roger Finley and wife Patricia Finley.

His burial was at Yelm Cemetery.
