In Loving Memory of Coreen M. McCreery

Coreen M. McCreery 72, passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at Atrium Health in Concord, North Carolina. She was born on Sept. 15, 1948, in Auburn, Washington. 

She was the daughter of Harold N. Shuck and LaVerne V. Shuck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Max E. McCreery, brother Brad Shuck and sister Sandra Kay Shuck. 

She is survived by her daughter, Bridgette Livengood (Paul) China Grove, North Carolina; stepson Greg McCreery (Tracy), Auburn, Washington; sister Jeanine Harper (Bill) Moses Lake, Washington; grandchildren Kaylene, Maegan, Cameron Livengood (Madison), all of North Carolina, and Grace and Carson McCreery, of Auburn, Washington; great-grandson Brenton Livengood; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Coreen drove a bus for Yelm School District for several years. She had many coworkers who were also her friends and kept in touch long after retirement. Her favorite pastime was her love for Arabian horses. She attended many horse shows with her best friend Betty Radtke, of Clarkston, Washington. She enjoyed the family camping trips, card playing and Bunko with good friends for over 50 years Ron and Helen Van Pevenage and family of Puyallup, Washington. She also enjoyed crafting (tole painting) with her bus shed friends and even taught classes. 

In 2020, Coreen moved to China Grove, North Carolina, to be near her daughter, son-in-law and their three adult children. You will be missed. Rest easy Mom. Almost 15 years apart, Mom and Dad are together again. 

There will be no funeral services at this time.
