Clifford “Cliff” Lloyd Lazelle, age 67, was born again in heaven Sunday, May 22, 2022, following his peaceful passing from a brief illness. He joins his beloved wife Linda who preceded him in 2021.

The son of Lloyd Warren Lazelle and Irene Delores Christensen, he attended Yelm High School, worked in the logging industry as a timber faller for over 20 years and retired in 2017 from the Washington State Department of Agriculture where he was a grain inspector at the Port of Tacoma. Cliff is respected for his virtues of hard work, integrity, honesty and frugality.

He is survived by his four children: Jeremy Lazelle of Woodsboro, Maryland, Kelly Ayala and husband Rick of Dodge City, Kansas, Jack Lazelle of Salem, Oregon and Christopher Lazelle and wife Mary of Tacoma, as well as grandchildren Roman, Damian, Lucas, Jayson and Ayanna. He is survived by uncles Harold and Delbert Lazelle and aunt Janet (Lazelle) Parker and families, in addition to stepmother Karen McDougall of Mossyrock and brothers Ronald and Curtis McDougall of Centralia.

Cliff loved rural living, self-sufficiency, gardening, chickens, card games, camping, fishing, Christian fellowship, and freedom. All appreciation to his church family and supportive circle of friends and neighbors.

A private family interment of his ashes will occur July 16, 2022 at Mills and Mills Memorial Park, Tumwater followed by a memorial gathering at the Rainier Chapel in Rainer, Washington, at 1 p.m.
