Deadline to Register to Vote on Nov. 8 is Election Day

Those who plan to vote in the Nov. 8 general election are encouraged to register to vote or update their voter registration.

A news release from Thurston County stated voters can register or update their registration in-person until 8 p.m. on election day at various locations.

They include the Thurston County Elections Office Voting Center at 2400 Evergreen Park Drive SW in Olympia from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through Nov. 7 and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.



People can also visit the voting center at the Lacey Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through Nov. 7 and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 8. The center is located at 500 College St. SE in Lacey.

Washington residents can also register to vote and get a replacement ballot at the HUB at The Evergreen State College, 2700 McCann Plaza Drive NW in Olympia. Those services are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 4 and Nov. 7 and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.

A list of ballot drop box locations throughout Thurston County can be found online at www.thurstoncountywa.gov. Drop boxes are located in Bucoda, Tenino, Yelm and Rainier, as well as Rochester, Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater.
