Prairie Days Bingo
The Yelm Lions Club will host the traditional Prairie Days Bingo event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Yelm Community Center, located 301 2nd St SE. Admission to the event is free, and Yelm’s Lions Club will give away several prizes throughout the evening to winners of Bingo games.

Party on the Prairie: Summer Concert
The Party on the Prairie: Summer Concert event will return at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 13, at Yelm City Park, located 108 SE McKenzie Ave. The event will feature a beer garden, food trucks and live music which includes local artists Dakota Poorman, the Olson Brothers, and country music star Adam Craig.
Saturday, June 14
Prairie Days Parade
Join the Yelm Chamber of Commerce and hundreds of community members lined up on Yelm Avenue to celebrate the Prairie Days Parade, which features the theme of “Rockin’ Through the Ages” this summer. Event hosts ask participants and attendees to pick a costume based on their favorite band and let it inspire their float design, if participating. The parade itself will begin at 9 a.m., and the participant lineup will begin at 7:30 a.m. You can sign up at yelmchamber.com to participate in the event.
Yelm Farmers Market
The Yelm Farmers Market will continue its series of weekly sales from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, near Yelm City Park at 206 McKenzie Ave. The event will feature a variety of vendors local to Yelm and the region.
The Stone City Art Festival
The Tenino Stone Carvers Guild will be hosting the Stone City Art Festival in downtown Tenino from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m on Saturday, June 14. The event features stone carving displays, live music, food, and an appearance by distinguished mason and sculptor Richard Rhodes.

Charity Mushball Tournament
The fourth annual Charity Mushball Tournament will return from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 15 at Longmire Park, as a plethora of local teams will compete to donate money raised at the competition to a charity of their choice.

Tenino Young-At-Heart performance
Tenino’s Young-At-Heart theater group will kick off Oregon Trail Days in Tenino at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 24 at Tenino High School with a performance of “The Little Mermaid.”

Tenino Oregon Trail Days
Spanning from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, Tenino’s Oregon Trail Days will return and offer community members numerous activities to enjoy. Throughout the day on Friday, July 25, participants can enjoy a WAMS Rock and Gem Rendezvous and many other activities such as a flag ceremony by the VFW Post 5878 at 10 a.m., a quilt show in the Quarry House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and food, arts and craft vendors.
Beer Garden Pre-Funk: Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally
The tradition of kicking off the Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally with a Beer Garden Pre-Funk event will return from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 25 at Yelm City Park. A cornhole tournament has been introduced to the event this year, and trivia will occur from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally
The annual Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally returns from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, and brings an abundance of free and fun activities for local families to participate in. Entertainment throughout the day will include live bands, a pie eating competition and more. Other activities will include a celebration of the event’s fifth year, the amateur BBQ competition, the youth burger challenge, a youth music talent show, and a beer garden for adults to enjoy.

Eighth annual Jazz in the Park
Night one of the annual Jazz in the Park event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at Yelm City Park. The free event welcomes attendees to enjoy a relaxing evening with live jazz performances, and several food vendors to enjoy. Night two of the event will take place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the same location.
