Annual Juneteenth Celebration
The Women Of Color In Leadership Movement, in partnership with Media Island International and the City of Olympia, will host the Annual Juneteenth Celebration at The Rebecca Howard Park on Saturday June 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. The event features Black-owned food vendors and includes music, art, performances, and activities for the entire family.
Yelm Farmers Market
The Yelm Farmers Market will continue its series of weekly sales from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, near Yelm City Park at 206 McKenzie Ave. The event will feature a variety of vendors local to Yelm and the region.

Capital City Pride
Celebrate love in all forms at the three-day Capital City Pride festival in Olympia featuring live performances, visual art, music, and over 100 booths. Color Fun Run
The partnership between the City of Yelm and Youth Athletics Recreation Development (YARD) will continue at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at Yelm City Park as the annual Color Fun Run returns. Participants can choose their distance of one-mile run, a 3K run or a 5K run. Everyone 2 years old and up are invited to attend, and registration costs $30. Tenino Young-At-Heart performance
Tenino’s Young-At-Heart theater group will kick off Oregon Trail Days in Tenino at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 24 at Tenino High School with a performance of “The Little Mermaid.”

Tenino Oregon Trail Days
Spanning from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, Tenino’s Oregon Trail Days will return and offer community members numerous activities to enjoy. Throughout the day on Friday, July 25, participants can enjoy a WAMS Rock and Gem Rendezvous and many other activities such as a flag ceremony by the VFW Post 5878 at 10 a.m., a quilt show in the Quarry House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and food, arts and craft vendors.
Beer Garden Pre-Funk: Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally
The tradition of kicking off the Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally with a Beer Garden Pre-Funk event will return from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 25 at Yelm City Park. A cornhole tournament has been introduced to the event this year, and trivia will occur from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally
The annual Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally returns from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, and brings an abundance of free and fun activities for local families to participate in. Entertainment throughout the day will include live bands, a pie eating competition and more. Other activities will include a celebration of the event’s fifth year, the amateur BBQ competition, the youth burger challenge, a youth music talent show, and a beer garden for adults to enjoy.

Eighth annual Jazz in the Park
Night one of the annual Jazz in the Park event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at Yelm City Park. The free event welcomes attendees to enjoy a relaxing evening with live jazz performances, and several food vendors to enjoy. Night two of the event will take place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the same location.
