Thursday, June 25
Prairie Days Bingo
The annual Prairie Days Bingo event is set to return from 5 p.m. to 8 on Thursday, June 25, at the Yelm Community Center. The free event welcomes community members to join the Yelm Lions Club for an evening of fun, and winners of each round will receive small prizes. Winners of the blackout bingo rounds will receive a gift card to a local business.

Friday, June 26
Party on the Prairie
The annual Party on the Prairie event will return at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 26 at Yelm City Park’s Centennial Stage. The free event will feature a lineup of talented local artists throughout the evening. Multiple food trucks and drink vendors will be at the event to satisfy local residents’ thirst and hunger. Additionally, Dakota Poorman and the Olson Brothers are set to perform.

Saturday, June 27
Prairie Days festivities
2026 Prairie Days will be celebrated on Saturday, June 27, and kicks off at 9 a.m. with the annual Prairie Days Parade down Yelm Avenue. The parade itself will begin at Yelm Cinemas and conclude at Yelm City Park. Following the parade, an abundance of family-friendly activities will be held at the park, including a photography contest, the annual “touch-a-truck” event, a chalk-art contest and much more.

Sunday, June 28
Charity mushball tournament
The annual Prairie Days charity mushball tournament will return this year at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, at Longmire Park in Yelm. The annual tournament allows teams to compete in a re-imagined game of baseball and softball. At the end of the tournament, the winning team picks a charity of their choice to donate the funds raised to.

Saturday, June 27
Movies in the Park: “Encanto”
The annual Yelm Lions Club tradition of Movies in the Park will return to Longmire Park this summer, with its first rendition set to begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. The movie being shown that evening will be “Encanto.” The event is free, and the movie itself will begin at dusk.



Saturday, July 11
Movies in the Park: “The Sandlot”
The annual Yelm Lions Club tradition of Movies in the Park will return to Longmire Park this summer, with its second rendition set to begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. The movie being shown that evening will be “The Sandlot.” The event is free, and the movie itself will begin at dusk.

Saturday, July 25
Movies in the Park: “The Princess Bride”
The annual Yelm Lions Club tradition of Movies in the Park will return to Longmire Park this summer, with its third rendition set to begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 25. The movie being shown that evening will be “The Princess Bride.” The event is free, and the movie itself will begin at dusk.

Saturday, Aug. 8
Movies in the Park: “Ratatouille”
The annual Yelm Lions Club tradition of Movies in the Park will return to Longmire Park this summer, with its fourth rendition set to begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. The movie being shown that evening will be “Ratatouille.” The event is free, and the movie itself will begin at dusk.

Saturday, Aug. 22
Movies in the Park: “How to Train Your Dragon”
The annual Yelm Lions Club tradition of Movies in the Park will return to Longmire Park this summer, with its first rendition set to begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. The movie being shown that evening will be “How to Train Your Dragon.” The event is free, and the movie itself will begin at dusk.
