The Yelm High School class of 1974 is celebrating its 50th reunion with events from Friday, Aug. 9 through Sunday, Aug. 11. The reunion begins with a no-host social from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9, at the 507 Taproom West, 106 Prairie Park St., Yelm. It will be followed by a catered dinner from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Yelm Community Center, 302 Second St. SE. It includes an all alumni car show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, at Yelm Middle School. A $10 donation to benefit Yelm Dollars For Scholars is requested.
