130943 Notice of Meeting YELM COMMUNITY SCHOOLS NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2024-25 FOR ALL FUNDS AND 2023-24 BUDGET EXTENSION FOR GENERAL FUND AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Yelm Community Schools will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, August 22, 2024, commencing at 6:00 pm at the District Office, 107 First Street N. The meeting is called for the purpose of conducting a public hearing and fixing and adopting the regular budget of the District for the ensuing 2024-25 fiscal year as well as fixing and adopting a budget extension for the General Fund for the 23-24 fiscal year, along with regular meeting purposes. Prior to adoption of the 2024-25 regular budget and the 2023-24 General Fund budget extension, the Board will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public regarding the budget adoptions and other regular meeting purposes. Any person may attend the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the budget. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2024-25 regular budget and the 2023-24 General fund budget extension, and shall, by resolution, adopt both the 2024-25 budget and the 2023-24 General Fund budget extension, as well as the four-year budget plan summary and the four-year enrollment projection for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
