Yelm has an opportunity to elect two outstanding new school board members.
Linda Hale is in a primary contest with Bill Hauss and Kay Anderson for the district 5 seat. Linda has five girls in Yelm schools and she understands the importance of providing a safe environment for learning where all children feel like they belong.
The other outstanding candidate is Allyn Verbal. Allyn is running in district 3 against Denise Hendrickson. Allyn is a Yelm school parent volunteer and serves as an emergency substitute teacher. As a school board member, Allyn will bring a fresh outlook as someone who is dedicated to transparency and deeply engaged with the community.
It is time for a change on the Yelm School Board. Please vote for Linda Hale and Allyn Verbal.
