Katie (Henderson Mires) Lenz passed away on May 22, 2023, to join the angels of heaven and to be with the Lord.
Born April 4, 1971, she spent all of her school years in Yelm, graduating from Yelm High School in 1990. She first married Troy Mires (deceased) and had a son, Sam. She later married Rick Lenz, and had two more sons, Curtis and Cody.
Her adult life was turbulent and troubled, but Katie was mostly a happy person.
She is survived by parents Dwayne Henderson and Patricia Olsen. She is also survived by three siblings, Rebecca (Becky) Hassler, Corey Henderson and Elizabeth (Liz) Soares.
We are all grieving for Katie, a special person whose life was way too short.
Now, finally, she is at peace for all eternity.
